To evaluate if the students have grasped how to count to 15 it is important to establish an individual assessment model. This will involve assessing each individual student by giving each his or her own session to count the 15 blocks.
They will be supposed to move the row of blocks from one side of the table to the other and count each block.
They will use one on one correspondence to individually touch and say the numbers.
They will then count them and follow the correct sequence. Students who count them in the correct sequence severally will pass the assessment; the rest will require more practice.
