For foreign students learning English for the first time will need first to be taught on how to count in English to 15. This will require practice and aids to help them get the numbers. This will be followed by ensuring they can count in the right sequence (Zadok, 2013). For children with learning disabilities, they will be taught using visual aids and other materials such as sticks and blocks/ stars to help them be able to count.
