Education Is  Freedom Essay

Education is not just the information that is usually passed into the minds of children and adults by force. According to Swami Vivekananda, education is a manifestation of the divine perfection reached in man. It has to equip the common man to live a full life, and bring out the strengths within them (Ravi, 2011). Education and freedom are interrelated and each affects the existence of the other.
At the very outset, I would like to say that education is egalitarian or available to all. Although the rate of our financial depts. in our country is rising to an alarming rate, our economy educational system is taking a hurting towards the young individuals and adults that want to further their education in a college setting. People who are poor are sometimes denied by the state for getting educated; people who stay in remote areas have distance education to fall back on. According to (Veritas, Prep), “There are advantages and disadvantages to either career path, so it’s important to be sure of your specific aspirations before you take the plunge. In terms of education and training, the two careers differ most in time/requirements, costs, and roles.” Even though there are communities that have such a low budget in their area that teachers are being cut from the educational systems and schools are being closed down. People have to travel and be determined to attend school specially to travel distance for a teacher’s or a school to educate themselves.
