How might women’s lack of positions of authority in organizations and institutions – the meso level of society – influence females at the micro level?

Lack of positions for women influence creates disadvantages over their male counterparts. Males take advantage of women in subordinate positions. Women are underrepresented in higher positions within organizations and institution; which, in turn, has an impact on the kind of policies passed in the higher levels. Men marginalize decision-making structures within these organizations (Winker & Nina, 52). The level of education they get has stratified consequences to their children such as provision of poor education to girls, untapped human resources within female gender and poor health care coverage because there are no women to represent them in higher positions.
