Two methods of integration as leadership tools and how each method can effectively be implemented in a MNC environment
Business activities are increasingly occurring beyond a company’s local territory or with other nations of different cultures, resulting in an increasing demand for new leadership competencies and behaviors in order to cope effectively with global conditions. Firms are also expanding from a local to international environment (Brett, Behfer & Kern, 2006). As such, organizational tasks and activities are sometimes carried out by transnational teams. Transnational teams comprise of people from different cultures brought together to carry out certain activities that transcend national borders.
